The Jihadist, Beloved, and Popular President Martyred in Service to the People/ Farewell, the Leader of the Deprived

The Jihadist, Beloved, and Popular President, Servant of Imam Reza (PBUH), the Master of the Deprived, His Excellency Ayatollah Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, was martyred in the service of the people.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the Mujahid and Popular President and his accompanying delegation, including Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayatollah Al-Hashem, Representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azerbaijan and Friday Prayer Leader of Tabriz, Dr. Malek Rahmati, Governor of East Azerbaijan, Sardar Seyyed Mehdi Mousavi, Head of the President's Protection Team, and a number of bodyguards and helicopter crew, were martyred in the service of the people due to an accident involving the helicopter carrying the President, who had traveled to East Azerbaijan to serve the people, advance the country, and visit and inaugurate several projects.

We offer our condolences for this great loss to the presence of His Holiness Imam Zaman (PBUH), his rightful deputy, Imam Khamenei (May God protect him), the esteemed families of the proud martyrs of this incident, and the martyr-loving nation of Islamic Iran, especially the academics of Lorestan University.

The hard landing of the helicopter carrying the President and his accompanying delegation occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, May 19, of this year due to unfavorable weather conditions.
