In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Industrial Management Department of the Alashtar Higher Education Center, with the aim of familiarizing students of this field with the factory environment and production processes, has organized a scientific visit. In this regard, and to further facilitate interaction between students of this field and industrial environments, a scientific-educational visit was conducted on December 12, 2023, coordinated by the President of the Alashtar Higher Education Center, Dr. Amin Hasanvand, and the Head of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Relations Department of the University, Dr. Reza Asareh.
This scientific visit was held at the Khorramabad Machine Manufacturing Factory, under the supervision of the relevant professor, Dr. Mohammad Tavassoli, and a group of students from this field.
Initially, Mr. Dr. Sheikhi, the CEO of Khorramabad Machine Manufacturing Company, welcomed the students and explained the vision and mission of the factory. Subsequently, Engineer Shams, the Production Manager of the factory, provided a detailed explanation of the product manufacturing process to the students.
Initially, the students visited the factory's raw material warehouse and how they are controlled. Then, upon entering the production hall, they became familiar with the machinery layout, the arrangement of the production line, production processes, and how to inspect and control the quality of products. During this scientific visit, students, in addition to becoming more familiar with devices such as cutting machines, presses, various CNC machines, and various quality measurement devices and tools (digital calipers, thickness gauges, etc.), benefited from the experiences of expert and experienced engineers. Then, by visiting the maintenance and repair units of the factory, the raw materials and spare parts warehouse, and the semi-finished products warehouse, they became familiar with the various departments of the factory. Subsequently, the Quality Control Manager of the factory, while explaining the methods used to control the quality level of products based on international standards, outlined a clear vision for students of industrial management and their position in the future industry of the country.
The production process of the Khorramabad Machine Manufacturing Company started with the supply of all metal structures for the Parsilon factories and continued with unique works such as the construction of floating bridges, drilling derricks, and jack-up bases, as well as the construction of containers. With the start of oil, gas, and petrochemical activities in the south and west of the country, this company has had a prominent and successful presence in carrying out phase one of Asaluyeh, and after that, it has constructed parts of the Mobin, Borzuyeh, Tondguyan, Ilam, and Kermanshah petrochemical plants. Relying on the power plant records of the Khazar Holding, Lorestan Machine Manufacturing Company has now entered the phase of producing tanks and exchangers, and in the near future, by producing fin tubes, it will take significant steps in the industry towards localization and self-sufficiency.
