Shining Performance by Alishtar Higher Education Center Student at the Hangzhou Para Games

Ms. Hadis Rezaei Mirghaed, a student of Industrial Management at the Alashtar Higher Education Center, succeeded in winning a silver medal in the women's sitting volleyball competitions at the Hangzhou Para Asian Games.

Referring to winning the silver medal in the fourth edition of the "Hangzhou" Para Asian Games, Hadis Rezaei Mirghaed added: The competitions were of a high level, and the teams of Japan and China were tough opponents, and we only failed to overcome China and achieved the runner-up position.

Regarding her first participation in the Asian Games, she stated: I am happy about this, and although it was new to me, I gained a lot of experience, and participation in important international arenas causes the athlete to increase their efforts every day with more experiences to achieve better positions in the next events.

Rezaei Mirghaed, referring to the "positive energy" of family, friends, and acquaintances and thanking them, noted: This energy, as well as my inner motivation, will enable me to prepare for the World Championships and the Paralympics with renewed spirit.

The women's sitting volleyball competitions in the "Hangzhou" competitions were held with the participation of Iran, South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, and Mongolia in a round-robin format, and the Iranian team, with four wins and only one defeat against China, ranked second with 12 points.

The fourth edition of the Para Asian Games was held in Hangzhou, China, and the Iranian representatives, with 44 gold medals, 46 silver medals, and 41 bronze medals, and a total of 131 medals, ranked second, above Japan and South Korea.
