Undoubtedly, the great blessing of independence, freedom, and the lasting security of our country today is due to the efforts and sacrifices of the youth and great scholars who watered the fruitful and blessed sapling of the Islamic Revolution with their blood.
That sapling, which has now turned into a strong and sturdy tree, has now been entrusted to you, dear ones, and this is a very heavy and great responsibility that the entire nation, and especially you, Muslim students, who are rightfully the leaders of the progress and advancement of this country, have a duty towards.
December 7th, which signifies the steadfastness and resistance of the Muslim student against the system of domination, reminds us of the bravery of the students who shielded their chests against the colonial bullets of the enemy and, over time, have conveyed the anti-arrogance cry of the Iranian nation to the world.
The informed student, inspired by the divine political conduct of the Imam of the Ummah, the advice of the wise leader of the revolution, and moving on the red line of martyrdom, has been able to maintain their independence, freedom-seeking, and anti-arrogance stance, far from the clamor of the enemy's propaganda.
I honor December 7th as a symbol of freedom and anti-arrogance of the Muslim student and ask God Almighty for your increasing success in all individual and social affairs, especially in the field of scientific, research, cultural, and social activities.
