A presentation of an extra-university project by a faculty member of the Alishtar Higher Education Center was held.

"Determining the Competency Profile of Successful Exporters: A Case Study of Female Exporters in Ilam Province" is the title of the project by Dr. Zohreh Mohammadiari, a faculty member of the Department of Business Management at Lorestan University (Al-Ashtar Higher Education Center), which was implemented under the projects of Lorestan University's connection with society and industry, and its presentation session was held.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, the presentation session of this project, whose client is the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Ilam Province, was held on Saturday, May 27th of this year with the presence of the Head of Al-Ashtar Higher Education Center (Dr. Hasanvand) and a group of professors and students of this center.
In this regard, Dr. Zohreh Mohammadiari, the project manager, told our reporter: "Today, the importance of developing women's businesses and its vital role in the development and advancement of countries is not hidden from anyone. The success of these businesses is tantamount to success in the country's economy. Women are the main players in modern organizations. They constitute half of the capabilities and population of the modern world and are important for the economic and social prosperity of the world."
Dr. Mohammadiari explained: "In recent years, due to the economic and political situation of the country and the sanctions against Iran in the field of oil and international trade, our need to develop exports and enter global markets more than ever has become important, and the development of exports by women has also become a serious necessity; Therefore, this issue should be given more attention from different dimensions."
The faculty member of Lorestan University stated: "Ilam province, due to having an international border with Iraq and benefiting from the opportunity to export goods and services from this international border, has export companies, in many of which, the owners of exporting businesses are women."
Dr. Zohreh Mohammadiari, about the implemented project and research, explained: "In the qualitative section, the statistical population of the present research includes all experts and specialists (female entrepreneurs and top exporters in Ilam province and faculty members of universities). In the quantitative section, the statistical population includes female exporters in Ilam province who have more than three years of work experience in international markets. According to the statistics published by the Science and Technology Park of Ilam Province, in 2022, 60 active women's businesses with more than three years of experience in international markets were active."
She added: "The results showed that a total of 57 indicators in the form of 15 sub-themes and 6 main themes were identified as factors affecting the success of female exporters in Ilam province. The main factors are: marketing capabilities, competitive intelligence, government policy, entrepreneurial empowerment, strategic communication, and social acceptance."
The faculty member of the Department of Business Management at Lorestan University, regarding the results of the project and the proposed solutions, said: "In line with the obtained results, suggestions have been presented to improve and strengthen women's businesses:
1- Recognizing and paying special attention to the needs of society in women's products and paying attention to the production of products based on the needs of society.
2- Improving the competitiveness of women's businesses by paying attention to the characteristics of quality production, the attractiveness of produced products, and focusing on customers.
3- Identifying the challenges facing women's businesses and planning to overcome these challenges.
4- Material and moral support from families for women's jobs.
5- Creating a positive attitude and mindset in families about the importance and success of women's jobs.
6- Planning and designing strategies and policies by the government regarding financial and legal support for women's businesses.
7- Providing facilities and bank loans with special conditions for women's jobs.
8- Reducing bureaucracy and administrative complexities regarding the launch of women's businesses.
9- Developing specialized centers to support women's businesses.
10- Creating markets for the sale of women's products."
